Coaching Experience:

  • Starting my second year as a soccer coach for the C-team at Blue Valley West, but my 15th year as a coach.

  • Previously I have coached soccer, track & field, cross-country, and wrestling.

Personal:

  • I have been happily married for 9 years.  We have three kids: Natalia, (5),  Nicolas (2), and Isabella (1 month). My family is everything to me. When I'm not teaching or coaching, I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife and I are originally from Mexico. I was born and raised in the state of Guanajuato, but I received my high school and college education in the United States.

  • I enjoy being part of the education process of our youth in the classroom and on the field. I believe it’s very important to build a strong and solid foundation in the acquisition process for foreign languages, but most importantly, I believe in students becoming fluent in the language.  Sharing my language and its culture with my students is my priority and one of my joys.  Being able to speak several languages is a benefit and a tool nowadays. Being multilingual is a talent and a work of art that has to be conquered through curiosity, excitement, practice, dedication, and joy.

  • I’m a true believer of the phrase, “Healthy body… healthy mind.” Being an athlete and a coach had been an important part of my life. I enjoy playing sports as well as watching them.

  • It is an honor, joy, and pride to be part of the Jaguar Family.
